Hey there, I’m James. Nothing makes me more sad than staying at a great RV park with great people, but finding that it’s poorly represented by a sub-standard website. RVspark is born from this inherent sadness.
I’ve been designing and building brand identities and websites professionally since 2004. Over the course of my career I’ve had the opportunity to work on projects big and small and work for companies from California to Scotland. As technology has changed and improved, I’ve managed to keep up and I now look forward to bringing the RV world closer to the bleeding edge.
And this goofball is Rhiannon, organizer and manager extraordinaire. Throughout her career, Rhiannon has had the opportunity to work in multiple industries and brings a wealth of experience on how to run a successful, streamlined company with excellent customer service.
We are RVers.
After moving around a lot throughout our lives, we had our epiphany in 2016 and decided to live on the road. We spent half of 2017 touring the country and, after an unfortunate accident involving a tree and our rig, decided to slow down temporarily and work on a few projects. RVspark is one of those projects and we’d be lying if we weren’t excited to get back on the road and start spreading the word.
We saw a need and decided to fill it.
Once we were on the road and had to find accommodations on-the-fly, it became immediately clear that the majority of RV parks were a little behind the times where their websites were concerned. We reached out to our social media following with a survey to see how much an RV park’s website really mattered to our fellow RVers and we were pleasantly surprised. Overwhelmingly people favored RV parks with more professional and user-friendly websites over those with outdated websites. We knew we were on to something and only a few short months later RVspark was born!
Gone are the days of paying astronomical amounts for a website that’s outdated in a year or two, or the dreaded DIY solution that looks great in the ads, but once you get your hands on it it just ends up looking like a mess.
We’ve built the platform. We’re going to keep updating it. It’s great. Now come on in!
